Tell us about your role at Schauer Group:

I manage the personal insurance department. This includes handling the needs of our existing clients and the implementation of new business. I’m responsible for my department’s success, with the help of my team.

What do you enjoy most about your career with Schauer Group?

I enjoy meeting with prospective and existing clients in the process of determining their insurance needs.

What drew you to the insurance industry?

My stepfather, Charles Safron, was in the insurance business and owned his own agency, Safron Agency, Inc. I worked with him and my mother for 10 years at the agency. I really enjoyed working with the clients & servicing their needs.

What's an important lesson you've learned during your career?

One of the first lessons I learned in my career is to never talk outside of the office about your client’s possessions or claim situations. The client’s privacy is most important.

When you are not working, what do you like to do?

I love to travel. I hope to plan a trip soon to visit another country. I love to spend time with my family and friends.
