Austin Davis earns CPCU designation

Home » Newsroom » Austin Davis earns CPCU designation
Schauer Group client advisor Austin Davis has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation - an industry credential obtained by only 4 percent of risk management professionals.

The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation offers a master’s-level education in property-casualty insurance, providing both industry expertise and leadership training. While it typically takes several years to finish, Austin completed his CPCU in less than a year.

“Austin sets the tone for what it takes to be successful at Schauer Group with his strong work ethic and drive,” Schauer Group President and CEO Joseph D. Schauer said. “He is committed to growing his industry expertise, and the education gained through the CPCU will help him continue to advise and serve our clients with excellence.”

Austin started at Schauer Group in 2024 as a client advisor in the firm’s Canton office. In his role, Austin is responsible for new business development, client analysis, risk management program design, and servicing and retention efforts.

Austin joined Schauer Group with previous experience from his time as an insurance company sales associate. He graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a degree in finance and sport management, and he recently completed the Leadership Stark County Spotlight for Young Professionals program.
