Diane Schultz, CISR, Vice President, Risk Management, shares her experience with Pathway Caring for Children.

What does your service with Pathway mean to you?
It means a great deal to me to support and serve an organization that makes a difference in the lives of at-risk children and families in Northeast Ohio. It is very rewarding to witness children who have been rescued by Pathway graduate high school and plan to attend college.

What does Pathway do for our community?
Pathway Caring for Children’s mission is to empower children and families to realize their potential and achieve the possibilities of their lives through innovative mental health, foster care and adoption services. Pathway also provides school based services as well as transitional age services for teens. Many teens in foster care miss out on learning the life skills they need to live on their own once they turn 18 years old. Pathway case managers provide opportunities for hands on learning for essential life skills and support in real-life situations to help assist in this transition.
